Reproduction of the root sections of jet blades and buckets on two-wheel precision form grinders, such as the Ex-Cell-O #85A, has made necessary the design and development of a new line of shaped diamond dressing tools.

To meet the requirements of these new production methods, American Diamond developed a diamond tool with an improved powdered metal matrix that securely holds the triangular shaped diamonds found so suitable for this type of tool. And, by developing new manufacturing techniques, which permit the mass production of these special tools to the most exacting specifications, American Diamond can keep the cost of shaped diamond tools within very reasonable limits. Illustrated are three types of special jet tools: Jones and Lamson #NX?510?7 with .017″ radius; Pratt & Whitney Dia-Form with a 60 included angle and .010″ radius; Ex-Cell-O #48?4423.
